| The Old Stone House Museum will be offering a series of blacksmithing classes this summer in the new timber frame shop next to the Alexander Twilight House Besides the big brick forge, there are a couple of portable forges and anvils that can be set up outside, so that multiple students can work at the same time.
Wednesdays, June 23, June 30 and July 7, from 4:30 to 8 pm. Craig Marcotte will cover safety, fire building, and timing in this basic course, where participants will make something for their house. Register early, because space is limited. Call (802) 754-2022. Bring your lunch. |
