Diana Foster, will teach you how to knit a pair of sample socks, 2 at a time, on a 40” circular needle. The class will meet on two consecutive Saturday afternoons at the Hall House. (Class cost $25, or $20, for members, plus $28 for materials, which include: a beautiful 138 page hardcover book w/additional patterns, 40” circular needle and two balls of colorful superwash yarn of your choice.) Annual Fall Foliage Run, Walk & Bike


Sep 8,2013 - Time: 7:30 am - 11:30 am
½ Marathon Run, 5K Run, 5K Walk and 12 mile bike race on a Sunday morning on Brownington back roads. There is a 1/2 Marathon Run, with registration from 7 – 8 a.m., and race starting at 8:05 Then, with registration from 8 – 9 a.m.: A 12 mile Bike Race starting at 9:05 a.m. A 5K Run starting at 9:10 a.m. A 5K Walk starting at 9:15 All races start and finish in front of the Old Stone House. After the race there will be refreshments, cider pressing, and awards. Check out our website www.oldstonehousemuseum.org to find out how to get here and also register on-line. The cost is $15. There will be t-shirts for everyone who pre-registers, and then those that register that day until they run out. We’d like people to pre-register so we get the correct sizes.
