When you sign up online for classes, you must proceed through to the payment section to secure your spot in the class. If you have not paid on PayPal, your spot will not be saved and it will be given to another paying customer, you do not need a Paypal account to pay with your debit or credit card via PayPal. Please make sure to continue the registration through to the PayPal website. Many classes have a materials fee; this fee will have to be paid directly to the instructor.

If you are a member of the Museum, you can receive the member discount on many of these classes. Please call the Museum for this special member code at (802)754-2022.

Pie Crust For Beginners, Bob Hunt Saturday November 18, 9:00am-12:00 pm at the Samuel Read Hall House Just in time for Thanksgiving! Learn to make traditional pie paste and bring home a ready-to-bake award winning apple pie! Prize winning pie baker and new Education Director Bob Hunt will teach you to make Vermont Farmhouse lard and butter pie crust and share traditional family recipes for apple, pumpkin and lemon meringue pie. Participants will prepare their own crusts and put together an apple pie to take home and bake, along with fool proof recipes for your Thanksgiving and Christmas pies. Baked pies will be sampled. Cost is $20 or $15 for members plus $8 material fee. Bring a glass, metal, or ceramic pie plate.
