Homeschooling Education

 

 

Home School Families are warmly invited to participate in all our education events and activites. Hands On History, All School Days and Museum Skills are especially well suited for Home School groups and families. Prior registration is required for all students in all programs so please contact us if you would like to schedule a visit or activity.

Hands on History is particularly well suited to home school families, presenting a different New England history topic each month, it includes an activity and background enrichment material, for ages 6-12 with an adult. Hands on History meets second Saturday each month from 10-12 noon. Enrollment is limited and prior registration appreciated.  $3 per child.  See 2011 schedule below.

All School Days, Fall Harvest Day is another popular program open to home school students who will enjoy a sampler of 6 history activities in the morning and a selection of seasonal agricultural  activities in the afternoon.  planned for groups of ten students. $3.75 per students aged 8-12, Tuesday, September 21, 2011.

Families may also schedule a special focused Museum tour and activity session. Contact us in advance to specify particular areas of interest and study, or to request an appropriate hands-on activity during your visit.  For ages 6 -18, May 15 through October 15.

Hands on History:
Please Call during the week before the program to PRE-REGISTER. Enrollment is  limited to 12 participating children.
