Each July, children (ages 8-12)  become “Time Travelers”  at the Old Stone House Museum for a week of hand skills and history.  The day camp, now in its fifteenth year, attracts outstanding regional craftspeople with solid teaching experience as staff.

The museum’s collections, six historic buildings and fifty five acres of working farmland amidst the Green Mountains, provide a beautiful setting for experiencing New England’s history. Counselors and Junior Counselors are drawn from local people who have attended the camp.

Children aged 8 to 12 can join us for a week of history, handskills and fun. This summer’s craft skills will include: Blacksmith, Farm, Potter’s Trade, Hearth, Wood Craft, and Decorative Arts.

If you are 13-17 years old, and are interested in being a Counselor or Junior Counselor, please let us know!  Parent Volunteers  are invited to participate full or part of the week.

To receive registration materials, information, or if you have questions, call or e-mail Susanna.
