The Old Stone House Museum & Historic Village will follow the following precautions to mitigate the spread of the Covid19:
Visitors

- Please maintain social distancing as you tour our grounds.
- Download a copy of our self-guided tour when you come just to visit our campus
- Access our virtual museum tour at anytime
- We ask that you wear masks in all indoor museum spaces
Educational Programs
We defer to the schools with whom we work to set policies on field trips, visiting educators at schools or any and all other situations. We will follow all protocols that our partner educators have put in place. For any questions, please contact our Associate Director of Museum Education.
Office Protocol

- DO NOT come to the office ill
- Wash hands for a full 20 seconds upon entering and exiting the building
- Wipe down surfaces before leaving (Surfaces include bathroom facilities, door handles, computer keyboard and mouse, railings, tabletops or other furniture
- DO NOT shake hands, hug or be within six feet of other individuals
- Wear a face mask when in the presence of others or in shared spaces
- Purchase and encourage the use of sanitizer for each office and common space
- When using common areas, disinfect all areas, especially the bathroom
- DO NOT gather in any given space of more than is recommended by the State
- Keep at least six feet between people
Work Policies

- Work from home when possible
- When possible, arrange phone or virtual meetings. Avoid in-person meetings
- Check voicemail and email remotely on a daily basis
- Only come to the office on designated office days or when otherwise schedule
- Volunteers and auxiliary personnel should refrain from coming into the office unless it is their designated office day
Outdoors

- Do not gather in groups from mixed households (as per State of Vermont regulations issued in November 2020)
- Wear gloves when using communal tools
- Keep a distance of at least six feet between each person
- Wear face masks when in groups of two or more
Individual Discretion

- Adhere to the State of Vermont Department of Health Department’s current mandates on in-person interactions
- Adhere to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines for in-person interactions
- Plan, cancel or reschedule in-person interactions according to your own personal discretion, including educational programming, work-related meetings or other situations that arise
