Welcome To Kids’ Friday To Go!
Join us each Friday starting June 19, 2020 for a weekly free lunch, lesson plan, and take-home heritage activity kit for your preschool to early elementary school aged child. The Old Stone House Museum curriculum will include resources, lesson plans, suggested activities, and activity guides intentionally developed to build students’ skills and knowledge in an informal, engaging manner. Available to all children in the Northeast Kingdom, Summer 2020’s curriculum will make history and nature come alive! Register in advance and then stop by Fridays at 11:00 AM. Please download a flier to share here or view our United States Department of Agriculture Nondiscriminaton Statement here.
Covid19 Safety Precautions
All necessary safety precautions will be taken in relation to Covid19. We ask registered participants to stop at the Brownington Historic Village’s Grammar School on Old Stone House Road at 11:00 AM. Upon arrival, please open your car trunk or hood. A staff person wearing a mask will place an activity tote and lunch in your car with no contact. Then staff will wipe points of contact on your car with a disinfectant. We ask that you please put a sign in your passenger side window with your child’s first and last name. We also recommend that all parents and children wear masks when opening windows.
