September 4 will be a starry night and there is no better place to see the stars than Prospect Hill at the Old Stone House Museum & Historic Village! On the Saturday before Labor Day, come out and enjoy the return of our annual Twilight Stars Party featuring LIVE music, food, a beer garden and astronomy with Bobby Farlice-Rubio from the Fairbanks Museum & Planetarium.
Start off the evening with a drink from our beer garden, pizza from the Runaway Tomato or a meal from the Ladies Aid Society of Brownington. Then catch the sounds of Vermont rock band Evansville Transit Authority, enjoy fun games for families with children of all ages or buy into the 50/50 raffle—the winner and the museum split the proceeds. At dusk, Bobby will lead the procession up Prospect Hill to begin our Stars Party with telescopes on-hand to explore the cosmos.
You are encouraged to bring your own picnic blanket or lawn chair to sit on for the event.
EARLY BIRD TICKETS on sale now at $8 for ages 12+, and $4 for children 5-12 and are FREE for children under 5-years-old. On the day of the event, tickets cost $10 for ages 12+, $5 for children 5-12 and are FREE for children under 5-years-old. Old Stone House Museum & Historic Village members are half price ($5) no matter when you buy.

Covid19 forced us to cancel this event in 2020, and we are so happy that in 2021 we can once again gather together to celebrate the incredible views from Prospect Hill! However, given the recent uptick in Covid19 cases, we have instituted protocols to ensure the safety of our guests. Following United States Center for Disease Control recommendations, we require that all people wear masks indoors, keep at least three feet of social distance from those outside your group and stay home if you are not feeling well. We also encourage participants to wear masks outdoors. Disposable masks will be available but we encourage you to bring your own. Hand sanitizer will be in abundant supply and we encourage you to use it! Thank you for helping us stay safe and stay open this season by preventing the spread of Covid19.
Generously sponsored and brought to you by Community National Bank.
