In our tenth “A Glimpse of the Past” with The Barton Chronicle, we displayed real photo Christmas cards that have been popular almost as long as photography has existed. The photos here were sent by local people back in the 1930s and the 1960s.

Carl and Annie French of Orleans and Westmore chose a tastefully posed portrait one year and a Willoughby Lake View another. Franz and Mary Hunt, of Newport, decided on a Hawaiian vacation photograph for theirs.
