Our twenty fourth “Glimpse of the Past” with The Barton Chronicle takes a look at postcard images from Lake Willoughby in Westmore, Vermont. They include:
(1) Small steamers, like the Keywaydin, operated on Lake Willoughby from 1884 to the early 1900’s.
(2) Times may have changed in the last hundred years, but the North Beach at Lake Willoughby remains as popular as it ever was.
(3) An aerial view taken by Newport photographer Harry W. Richardson that captures the entire six mile length of Lake Willoughby.
