Summer 2023 is almost upon us and the Old Stone House Museum & Historic Village hopes to be a part of your summer plans. With that in mind, consider yourself officially invited to our Opening Day celebration! It will be held on Saturday, May 20th from 11AM to 4PM and it is sure to be a good time.
There will be FREE ice cream, generously donated by H.P. Hood, and a FREE first floor tour of our great museum. On your free first floor tour, you will hear how the Old Stone House was built, gain an understanding of how Mercy Twilight kept all the students fed by walking through the Old Stone House’s period kitchen, and even experience a walk through of a classroom from days of old. Also, on the first floor tour is our newest exhibit, entitled In a Different Hue: Race and Representation.
Please come on your own or bring the family. We are excited to see you, share our great museum, and of course eat some ice cream!
