Come one, come all! We’re happy to announce that we are fully open for our 2021 season. We’re also excited to welcome you to the home of African American Alexander Lucius Twilight.
You can join us to walk our beautiful campus, use our FREE Wi-Fi Hot Spot, tour the museum and buildings, hike the Alexander Twilight Educational Trail or even just picnic in our gardens or on Prospect Hill. Our grounds are always open to you. The museum and Alexander Twilight House will be open Wednesday-Sunday 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Our regular tour times are 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. All walk-in tour requests will be accommodated as possible. For more information or to book a tour in advance, please email [email protected].
The Old Stone House Museum & Historic Village opened in 1925. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the museum chronicles the history of Orleans County through its collections, exhibits, events and educational programs. A featured stop on Vermont’s African-American Heritage Trail, we also have more than 75,000 objects that tell the story of Orleans County, Vermont.
