Wild and Hungry Kids | Children Enrichment
Learn how to incorporate a number of wild foods and herbs such as acorns, yellow dock seeds, nettle leaf, and polypore mushrooms into some culinary delights, such as chocolate milk, to name one. This hands-on kitchen class combines learning, connection to the landscape, creativity, and a fun mess to clean up in the end.

Elliot Cluba, owner of Herbs and Arrows primitive skills school, returns to the museum to share his mastery of edible local plants and his love of botany with our families. If you have not had the chance to meet Elliot, don’t miss this opportunity to work with an excellent guest educator and learn about the plants that grow around you.
